Honda X8R-S 50cc – 12,000 Miles
Honda X8R-S in good overall condition for its age. It’s covered just over 12,000 miles and has had 3 owners.
The bike has had extensive maintenance and restoration work, including professionally rechromed fork stanchions in 2025. A full list of the work carried out is available on request.
I’ve used it as my daily commuter for the last couple of years and it’s never let me down. It’s economical to run, starts well, rides as it Ishould, and has plenty of storage under the seat for a helmet, lock and gloves.
The bodywork has a few scratches and marks from the bike having fallen over at some point. These are purely cosmetic and don’t affect the way it rides. It still has its original paint and panels, which is becoming increasingly rare.
Being a 2-stroke, it’s noticeably livelier than most modern 50cc scooters, and these X8Rs are getting harder to find in original, unmodified condition. It’s comfortable to ride too, even if you’re taller (I’m 6’3” and have had no issues).
