1994 – last of the airheads, in good condition. Low milage – 39,080 (bike in use, so this might increase slightly). Easy to start in all weather. Dynojet tested – ULEZ compliant. I purchased this bike in 2017 and have toured France a couple of times, and on into Spain and it ran like a dream. The twin Brembos are just amazing.
Underwent a major service in June 2023, carried out by experts at Boxer Workshop in Ruislip. Work carried out included – gearbox overhauI, carbs ultra sonic clean and rebuild, new push rod seals, push rod cam followers, valve adjust, oil pump, high output (police specification) voltage regulator. All in, I spent nearly £2,000 on this extensive service. I haven’t put a lot of miles on the bike since then.
Nearly new Bridgestone Battlax BT46 tyres, lined BMW panniers,
hand book, toolkit, original key plus 2 spare, Optimate battery monitor and charge point, Hepco and Becker grabrail/rack, V5, service documents. Fresh MOT (expires 16th May 2025). Included is the original front mudguard in red.
Some minor faults to point out – I have tried to show in the photos :
Fracture in the headlight bracket.
Scratches on the fuel tank (not on my watch).
Corrosion on the exhaust due to battery spill (the bike now has a Motobatt AGM battery and no more spills, holds charge extremely well).
Slight dent in the cylinder head cover.
