This one runs & rides perfectly, starts very well cold or hot, idles fine and goes thru new. Clutch still smooth and work perfectly No leaks,no drips on floor, nothing.Bike sits on a battery tender and always has. Bike is in a garage with controlled air conditioning, like my others vintage motorcycles, I’m just a hobbyist.
The chrome shine as good as new, original exhausts are perfect, no nicks or scratches, free of pitting rust( check pictures)bike accessories still like new.Factory Daytona Air Cleaner and OEM mirror stamped “Harley-Davidson”
Seat and Sissi bar are perfect..all lights and electric stuff works like new, like the turn signals, The system is simple and effective. Thumb the starter button and the motor fires, then settles into a steady idle.
The Daytona has one more front disc brake than the 1991 Sturgis, at least its brakes are impressive, and the Daytona’s handlebar is taller and sweeps back more toward the rider.
history of this “Daytona”, according to the second owner and seller from whom I bought this bike, he himself bought the bike from the original owner who was his best friend and who died in 2009~ , he kept it in memory of his friend in his garage with controlled air conditioning by starting it regularly and running it in the neighborhood only, hence the low mileage of the bike, no longer having the possibility of take care of this Dyna.
Given the incredible condition of the entire Bike I bought it with the intention of adding it to my collection of vintage motorcycles, I in turn have to reduce my collection of motorcycles to find space to store my cars in my Warehouse where are my vehicles. clear title but in the name of the former owner who sold it.
anyone who wishes to come on site to see and check the bike will be welcome.
Current NADA vintage value $14,265.00 in this shape and Low original miles .
