You are viewing an exceptionally clean, very original, unmolested, 1989 BMW R 100 GS. this bike is being sold from my father’s estate. He was the original owner, and the bike was purchased new in San Diego, California. The bike has a clear California title. And Will be sold with the appropriate court documentation for a legal transfer. If the bike is sold in California, the seller will pay back DMV fees. once I took possession of the bike, I drained the fuel, clean the float bowls for the carburetors, and charge the battery. The bike started easily. The tires were changed due to their age. They were in excellent condition, but it seemed a prudent measure to change them for safety. The bike comes with a clean, California title, the original price tag that would have hung on the handlebars, the original purchase agreement, and the congratulation letter on the final payment from BMW. Service records are also included. The bike has its original tool kit, tire repair kit, shop manual, riders manual, motorcycle dealer, directory warranty information, proof of ownership, service history, and the original riders Manual, and the factory battery chargerThe bike is always been stored in the warm, dry garage, it’s never been laid down or abused. Buyer is responsible for shipping. The bike is located in northern California, 100 miles north of San Francisco. On Feb-03-24 at 06:45:25 PST, seller added the following information:Unfortunately I accidentally added a speedometer pic from a Porsche project that I am working on. The actual mileage is 10,866 miles, you can see this clearly in the speedo shot that shows the handlebars of the bike. The other photo of a Vdo speedometer. with 8832 is out of a Porsche. My apologies. I’ve tried and I can’t for the life of me. Figure out how to remove this photo.
