Modeled after FXRP a pursuit bike. Historically significant motorcycle. Limited production. Even more rare as the second half of 1984 a belt drive was used. Gently ridden and well loved. RP’s were introduced in 1984 (first “ED” windshield model & Then “EF” fairing model).
Of Note: The “EE” one year only model is the 1984 disc glide – one is listed here on and is very rare.
The RT project was given to Eric Buell as a young engineer for Harley.
Your “ECL2” is a mid year introduction with only 287 produced in Red with stripe.
Total 1984 RT production was 2,023 units.
