TIMSCBX is selling one of my personal cbxs-NOTE THERE IS A 500 DEPOSIT REQUIRED IMMEDIATLEY DUE TO A NON PAYING ER ON PREVIOUS LISTING-its a 1981 cbx in near perfect condition with only 1 previous owner (i still have the title where he registered it new in 1982)–1st off ,the mileage is around 9500 –i bought the bike around 15 years ago and it had 3k miles on it–i installed a 1979 150 mph speedo that had 35k on it –many of you that have been to rallies over the years know this bike as i always brought it to ride at them–it is mostly original other than the following parts–1-tims upgraded conversion alternator–2- very rare fairing clock and altimeter gauges-3 – 3 position heated grips- 4–custom tail pack with passenger backrest with matching paint and decals-4-corbin seat with matching drivers backrest that slips out in 2 seconds-5-a few tasteful chrome parts–6-tims custom external oil pressure gauge-7 Tims custom fork brace-8–TIMS upgraded starter –when i got this bike we went through the carbs,brakes and virtually everything on the bike—-we adjusted the valves a few years back but it hasnt been ridden a lot since then –it has recent kenda retroactive radial tread pattern tires for superb handling ,rebuilt the brakes recently again — recent gold 530 chain and sprockets-the bike is as clean a bike as you can find that has been ridden–the pipes are perfect with no dents or rust anywhere–the bike starts and runs perfectly–hop on it and ride it across town or across the country, paint is near perfect with very few very minor scuffs on the saddle bags as they always do–the gas tank is super clean inside with no rust at all-and it comes with the oem toolkit-the only flaw on the bike is the tail cowl has a few cracks in it from where i installed the tail pack and it rocked back and forth stress cracking it, i resolved the issue by adding rear bracing to the license plate bracket but i never replaced the cowl–you cant see it anyway with the tail pack on the bike–regrettably selling it but it just doesnt get ridden as much as it should and i dont like for any of my cbxs to sit so its time for someone else to enjoy this beautiful bike—contact us at 877-timscbx with any questions–i will assist in shipping at new owners expense—
