I'm a private collector of CBX and V 65 Magnas, I'm letting some of my collection go because it's time, no room, and I'm getting up in years.This CBX is in almost original condition. The tank is clean inside. I did have a new "show quality paint job" done on the tank and rear fender. I’m a private collector of CBX and V 65 Magnas, I’m letting some of my collection go because it’s time, no room, and I’m getting up in years.This CBX is in almost original condition. The tank is clean inside. I did have a new “show quality paint job” done on the tank and rear fender. I re-painted the side covers to the original matt finish, you barley see that done.The frame has not been re-sprayed and has the usual nicks easily touched up with a tiny brush.The battery is new. The original exhaust on the CBXs were the weak spot, they rusted out even in storage, they were replaced with New Honda factory style CBX pipes. I did replace the spark plugs, and dried up fuel lines, and old gaskets ect. I rebuilt the carbs with new jets, needle and seats bowl gaskets and with what ever came with the kits.The tires are great the electrics all work, turn signals, horn, dash ect. The alternator did not work which is typical so I took it out and found a broken wire on one of the brushes, and replaced it. The seat has a brand new factory perfect cover, looks great but it is not on the bike. It just arrived but you can have either one. The one on the bike is a Corbin, Its perfect but I can change it.The brake disc’s have very little wear. It starts on the first turn.
I saw an ad for new gauge faces and needles, so I thought I would replace the faded faces and needles, glad I did, still original speedo and tach.This CBX is about as original as it gets, and being 44 yrs old it looks great as the photos show. The price is fair, and the CBXs are hard to come by these days, so I will entertain an offer. I will help you find a shipper, and all that stuff.
