One of the most desirable motorcycles for many collectors. Inspired by the Guggenheim Museum’s; ‘Art of the Motorcycle’ show that displayed a beautifully restored CR 250M that captivated first time viewers and Elsinore veterans alike. The 250 Elsinore was the first 2 stroke sold by Honda. It was a game and market changer for motocross motorcycles immediately. You were either riding one, or following one. Gary Jones and Steve McQueen rode them, and that clinched it for many. This 1974 was painstakingly taken completely apart and very carefully re assembled with many O.E.M. N.O.S. parts to recreate a Honda showroom look. The bike has never had gas in the tank since I have owned it. This would make an incredible addition to your office or man cave, or restaurant or bar. I will hold the bike for the new owner until shipping arrangements and pickup are made. The bike will remain inside the climate controlled building where it has been on display for the last 15 years. There is no warranty express or implied on this classic vintage dirt bike. A bill of sale will be provided since no title was ever created for this 50 year old motocross race bike. Payment by certified cashier’s check, wire transfer, or cash on pick up. Thank you for looking over this classic gem.
