The beautiful Trail70’s are an image that take us back to those great memories as a kid? I love these as much today as I did then! Every time I see one, I’m a child again, (just ask my wife). As a youngster with 5 brothers and a stay-home mom, we didn’t have a shot at one…it was quite a load for my dad. I waited my turn in line to ride my buddies, and a borrowed one was as good as I could hope for until I started collecting several years ago! At 60, I feel the same way. Now, these iconic minibikes, are my favorite hobby and my collection is known around the world. As one of the largest collector/enthusiasts in North America, selling them literally here and abroad, I can tell you that the craze isn’t ending anytime soon. They are much more enjoyable than a money market or most stocks, and they have been going up consistently, over 8% per-year for the past few years, which is tough to compete with. This is “Made New”, down to the original nut & bolt, every detail taken into consideration- restored at a very high-level. They’re great to look at and to ride, a great family toy for sure. Not all of my bikes have been restored by our guys. Recently we sold one restored by JT Restorations, easily making it the best looking restored bike we’ve had in my collection. I believe this bike is pretty similar in its showy and stunning appearance. I’m sure proud of my guys on this one and hope you can appreciate it as much as I do. My hobby and mission here is to teach men who are recovered from addiction, a valuable trade. The engine is as new as the chassis, and as you can see, we sweat the details! We have not ridden this since its restoration. We used the old style piston to replace its original piston, we replaced the clutches, brakes, points, plug and carb. It didn’t need a lot but the rest of the motor was carefully cleaned and reassembled. The winner gets the original carb. It has new seals and gaskets. We prefer the aftermarket carb if you are a rider, (they’re not as temperamental as the original). We put forth great effort, hoping to result in excellent detail! Tool Kit and manual are included, and can be picked up by your transporter or we can mail them if you request. As you can see, many of the bolts we use are original K0 bolts. We bead-blast and re-zinc the hardware. Nearly every chrome part is also the original K0 part that we re-plated with a “Tripple coating” of new chrome. We send original chrome pieces to SanAntonio and triple plate them. Excellent quality. You will be hard pressed to find a more detailed and beautiful restoration. It’s certainly not impossible but they are few and far between.
