Beautiful 1968 engine and transmission. Engine has matching cases with no repairs. Heads and barrels are also correct 68 as well. engine had been sitting a very long time when we got it. took entire top end and cam cover off. engine was FRESH and perfect inside with under 1000 miles. everything was taken apart, vapor honed and ultra sonic cleabed. i lapped the valves and the seats and guides were fit perfect and needed nothing. i also cleaned cleaned the pistons and ball honed the barrels even tho they showed zero wear and still had cross hatching. cam is stock with no wear and fit the gear perfectly. cam was also shimmed perfectly. Crank is also perfect with correct end play. all new gaskets and colony cad hardware were installed
this is NOT the typical hammered and repaired gen shovel engine, it’s a nice stock engine that’s had low miles its whole life. The transmission is correct and is BRAND new inside. All Andrews gears and shaft. No repairs etc, same condition as the engine is. This setup is ready to bolt in and GO. Clear paperwork in my name.
