2019 DUCATI Scrambler Desert Sled, The Scrambler line has been highly successful for Ducati, bringing back the glory days of the ’60s-’70’s on/off road machines (in which Duc was a big player) but brought into the modern era with updated technology and styling. Out of the lineup, the Desert Sled is the most capable of actually being used off-road, with increased chassis stiffness, improved suspension with far more travel, adjustable ABS brakes and a longer swingarm. The seat height is taller and the ergonomics lengthened a bit so it is more comfy for taller riders than the standard street Scrambler models are. Ducati achieved these improvements in off-road capability without sacrificing the bike’s on road performance, handling and overall fun factor. And with the improvements this bike has a wholly upgraded sense of adventure, getting back to what made the bikes of yesteryear so cool. A truly awesome machine that is a lot of FUN.
